Credentials
Applicants may apply for a Ministry Certificate, License, or Ordination. The enclosed RMFI brochure describes the purpose and basic criteria for each credential. Application Requirements for all credentials are included in the Application Packet. If an applicant is currently credentialed with another denomination which does not permit them to be simultaneously credentialed with RMFI, they may apply for Membership. Please include a copy of the current credential with the application.
Ordination Service
Applicants approved for ministry credentials will receive official notification, the Annual Credential Card and Credential Certificate effective the date of their approval. All approved candidates will have hands laid on them by RMFI leadership at the next scheduled RMFI Conference. Upon special request, consideration will made to arrange for the ordination service to be held in the candidate’s church, if RMFI leadership schedules permit. International Ordination services are held regularly.
Financial Support
Tithes and offerings from ministers and churches are tax deductible contributions deposited in RMFI’s account and used totally for RMFI Ministries including: Ministerial Care and Restoration, Seminars and Conferences, Resources, Church Planting, and World Missions Outreach, and Administration. All tithes and offerings should be designated and payable to RMFI.
All ministers licensed or ordained by RMFI are expected to tithe to RMFI. All Churches and ministries should sow their best offering into RMFI on a monthly basis. RMFI “Members” licensed or ordained with another denomination to which tithing is required, are not required to tithe to RMFI, but should support RMFI with their best offering on a monthly basis. Certified Ministers, who are volunteers serving and tithing to their local church are not required to tithe to RMFI, but should support RMFI on a monthly basis.
Annual Credential Renewal
All ministry credentials (Certificates, Licenses, Ordinations and Memberships), must be renewed annually during the month of January by returning the Annual Renewal Form with the $50 renewal fee on or before January 31st. Renewals are based upon continued commitment to walk in agreement with RMFI leadership, Statement of Faith, biblical standards for personal life and ministry, prayer and financial support, and participation in RMFI meetings and special events. An Annual Credential Card will then be issued for the New Year.
